Day 3 - Tue 2 Jun: Frankfurt
The morning was spent having brekkie, chatting, putting bikes back together in the conference room where they had been stored overnight, and sorting out local sims for our phones. We found Wendy's iPhone invaluable last year for navigation so we got both got our sim cards changed over this year. T-Mobile seems to have the best deal in Germany. We are now certain that two of us can get everyone lost better than one .. surely not!! We had a good wander down to the city mall and back (7+km) just to get the legs working properly again after more than 30 hours in airports and planes. Wendy had to have her battery changed on her iPhone 5 as it was not keeping its charge for any more than half a day! Euros75 (As$110) and an hour or so later it was fixed thanks to the Apple Store, Frankfurt. It's a pity that iPhone battery changes cannot be done by the user like most other phones.
